I looked out my bedroom window into the dark, night sky, wondering what this view
would have looked like five hundred years ago. I would have seen beautiful nebulas, and an infinite amount of stars, but now, all I see is the dark, black sky, with a few tiny specks of light that dance around the empty sky, unchallenged. I want to see the beauty that would have stared back at me half a century ago. I want to know how people got used to seeing such beauty, night after night. I need to know all of this. I need to know why one has to go to places far, far away to see such beauty, when mankind should all just be able to look out there bedroom window, and have this site greet them night after night.
